Kalamazoo Dog Show

Just a reminder to all those who signed up to work tomorrow at the Kalamazoo Dog Show. We will be working hospitality for the judges and it is a VERY easy 250$ for the club to work one day. If you have signed up for a "morning shift" be at the Kalamazoo Fair grounds at 7:00am and if you took an "afternoon shift" please be at the Kalamazoo Fair Grounds at 12:00. ***Reminder*** to be a part of Working Paws you have to participate in at least one shift of either the Spring Kalamazoo Dog Show or the Fall Grand Rapids Dog Show. This is mandatory!! Thank you for your cooperation!

FFA Pizza Night

Hey everybody!

Just wanted to let everybody know about a way to help with our FFA program coming up soon! As some of you know I am now the President of the Lowell FFA and I really need to get the word out about our fundraiser. This Monday ( May 2nd ) the Lowell FFA is helping out at Three Brothers Pizza from 6pm to 8pm. Three Brothers in located right next to Speedway on Main Street. They don't just sell pizza, they also have subs, chicken wings and much more. In short if you come and buy anything at Three Brothers Pizza 20% of the money goes directly to the Lowell FFA. Please come out and support us!!

New Working Paws Officers and Leaders April 24, 2011

We also have two new leaders to welcome into the club. Brian Langlois and Ashley Canfield have both completed their training and are now full leaders for Working Paws. With the new officers and leaders we are set to have a wonderful year!

Paper Clover Day TSC

Thank you so much to the Working Paws members that brought there dogs and bunnies to TSC to promote the message of 4H to the Lowell community. As a club we raised $96.00 for the Kent County 4H program! Today's participants waited at a table in the Lowell TSC and asked incoming customers if they would like to buy a paper clover for $1 a piece to be displayed on the windows of TSC. Many donations where made between our shift of 10am to Noon. A big thanks to Dave Fosburg for helping us take advantage of this wonderful opportunity! Thanks to all of the members who helped our local 4h!
